Paris Hilton trademarked her well-known phrase “That’s hot” and now actor Charlie Sheen is planning to do the same with some of his most popular Sheenisms, for which a company connected to him has already filed trademark applications.

Radar Online reports that Sheen has serious plans to capitalize on the media frenzy that his firing from “Two and a Half Men” has generated, a frenzy mostly sustained by Sheen himself.

The phrases in question are already plastered on t-shirts and other merchandise that Sheen has put out and, so far, they’ve been used freely for the fun of millions.

But no more.

“A company linked to Charlie Sheen – dubbed Hyro-gliff – has filed applications for trademarks on 22 phrases the former Two and a Half Men star spurt during his media blitz last month,” Radar says, concluding that there must be a method behind Sheen’s “madness.”

“The applications were filed between March 19-22 and is seeking to trademark Sheen’s now infamous phrases including: Duh, Winning; Vatican Assassin, Tiger Blood, Rock Star From Mars, Sober Valley Lodge and Sheen’s Goddesses, among others,” the same report argues.

The same company is also looking to trademark Sheen’s name and that of his ongoing tour, the one that kicked off in Detroit over the weekend on such a sour note, since he was booed off stage by angry fans.

“The company also applied to trademark the actor’s name and signature, as well as the title of the Sheen’s current stage show, seeking protection for the phrases ‘Violent Torpedo of Truth’ and ‘Defeat is Not an Option’,” Radar informs.

All of these phrases were coined during the media blitz Sheen conducted in the aftermath of his firing from the popular CBS sitcom – and used to the utmost later, on all channels to which he had access.

Speaking of Sheen’s tour, despite the fact that it started badly with boos, which led to a decrease in ticket sales, his third gig, in Cleveland, ended with a standing ovation – clear sign of #Winning.
