Actor flies fan to Los Angeles for special visit on the set of “Anger Management”

Say what you will about Charlie Sheen and his erratic behavior these past years and well-documented antics, but he’s got a kind heart and he would never back out of helping someone, especially if that someone has less than a month to live because of cancer.

This is the kind of story that restores faith in humanity – and in celebrities in general –, if only a little bit and that, because of it, goes perfectly with the holiday season. Charlie found out that one of his fans had been given less than a month to live and he did his best to help him have one more enjoyable experience.

The actor had Marion Minchuk, the cancer patient, fly all the way out to Los Angeles to spend a few days with him – and he picked out the tab at the end, of course, TMZ informs.

“Charlie invited Marion to LA... he lives in Arizona. Charlie paid for 3 first class tickets -- for Marion, his GF and his nurse. He put them up at the Presidential Suite and the Universal Hilton. Charlie took the 3 to the set of ‘Anger Management’ where Marion got to sit in Charlie's chair – it's a thing on the show,” the celebrity publication writes.

“Charlie then took Marion to his home, where a chef made lunch for the group and they went to the screening room to watch ‘Gravity.’ Charlie signed an ‘Anger Management’ script and signed a DVD of ‘Wall Street’,” adds the same media outlet.

Before you say that Sheen’s doing it all for the publicity, a word of caution: this is not the first time that he does something this nice. In fact, he’s taken part in several such “campaigns” that he found out about on social media or in fan letters, and he never bragged about it in any way.

Just as importantly, Sheen doesn’t need the extra attention right now. This is a man who can create a frenzy online with a simple tweet so, if he had something to promote, he could do it with much less hassle than by “staging” such a moment.
