He describes himself as an “unemployed winner” but Charlie Sheen is clearly not spending his time at home on the couch, doing nothing. As he’s preparing to launch his “My Violent Torpedo of Truth / Defeat Is Not an Option” tour, the actor is also keeping busy in the recording studio.

A few days ago, Sheen uploaded a picture on his Twitter page with himself, rapper Snoop Dogg and Filter guitarist Rob Patterson sitting in front of several computers in Sheen’s home.

Billboard is now confirming that the photo was actually taken during a break from work, because Sheen is about to unleash his debut single to the world.

“Warlock meets his makers-music makers that is @SnoopDogg @robpatterson666 get ready to rock the Sheenius within!” Sheen tweeted at the time.

The aforementioned music magazine reports that Sheen’s single doesn’t have a release date just yet, but he will probably be performing it no later than on his first Detroit show – that is, tomorrow.

“Filter’s Rob Patterson is producing a track for Charlie Sheen’s upcoming tour, and Snoop Dogg will guest on the track, sources have confirmed,” Billboard says.

“A release date for the single has not yet been revealed, although the former ‘Two and a Half Men’ star’s one-man show is slated to kick off Saturday (April 2) in Detroit,” the magazine reports.

Speaking of the still-mystery tour, a recent report suggested that, despite Sheen’s stating the contrary, it was not sold out.

Insiders claim that Sheen and his management are only trying to make it look like the tour is selling out like hot cakes (2 dates in a record 18 minutes, for instance) because they’re trying to avoid being left with unsold tickets, that they will have to give away for free.

Right now, despite Sheen and his people saying all the dates are “sold out,” there still are thousands of tickets available, the report said.
