Charlie Sheen is ready to make peace with Ashton Kutcher for the things he said about his performance on “Two and a Half Men,” in the eventuality that Kutcher took offense. He's even written an apology letter.

Last week, Sheen went into attack mode, ripping into Warner Bros. and series creator Chuck Lorre for how bad “Two and a Half Men” had become in recent months, ever since he was kicked off it.

As expected, Kutcher also got a fair share of heat, because he basically came to replace Sheen – and the older star couldn't help but notice how badly he “sucked.”

In the meantime, Charlie has had a change of heart – and he wants Ashton to know he's sorry he was so hasty in speaking against him.

“Dear Ashton, my bad. I was disrespectful to a man doing his best,” Sheen tells Ashton in an open letter published on TMZ.

He believes he only went after Ashton because he got too carried away in speaking against his former employers and his former job, which he quit in one of last year's biggest media scandals.

“I got excited and I threw you into the crossfire, but the rest of my statement I stand behind. You however, deserve better. Safety in your travels good sir,” the star further says.

In recent interviews, as we also reported at the time, Sheen picked on Kutcher, saying his role on “Men” “sucked,” even though he wasn't entirely to blame for that.

“I'm tired of lying. I'm tired of pretending the show doesn't suck. I'm tired of pretending Ashton doesn't suck,” Sheen said.

“It's nothing personal. I just feel bad for him... he's saddled with such bad writing,” Sheen added.

The feud was reignited a few days before that, when Warner Bros. sent a cease and desist letter to Sheen, who had been promoting his own, upcoming show by using photos of himself in character for “Two and a Half Men.”
