14 DAY TRIAL // Philippine pop star Charice emerged as an Internet sensation and then established herself as a real star thanks to stints like that on hit musical series “Glee.” Just the other day, 21-year-old Charice came out as gay.
The admission about her orientation came on a local talk show called The Buzz, and is included in the video above.
Asked directly if she was gay, Charice responded with, “Yes, I am.”
“Now, I feel free. I can go out of the house without fear and be certain that I'm not stepping on anybody's toes. To those who can accept me, thank you very much,” she also said.
In the same interview, Charice apologized to her friends and family for hurting their feelings by coming out on TV, several media outlets indicate.
