Devil May Cry again - the color's white, not red

There is nothing gamers could enjoy more than special, limited edition bundles of game consoles. That might be the reason Microsoft has been offering a Halo-themed Xbox 360, and so did Sony with the white Playstation 2 bundled with Singstar or PSP's released in different colors that were attached to game titles.

The Japan market will receive a Devil May Cry 4 Playstation 3 bundle which introduces the ceramic white version of the gaming console. A second version of the bundle will include the regular black version, but the white one is what people will hope to get their hands on.

Even though it's announced only for Japan, Sony did similar things with their gaming consoles but they eventually made them available for the US market, too and it's very likely to see history repeating. However, if you want a ceramic white version right now, you could turn yourself into a white PS3 painter - check the PS3center website for that!

Now, back to our own business: the ceramic white bundle includes a 60-minute high quality real-time full CG movie, the Devil May Cry 4 game, one wireless controller, as well as a 40 GB PS3. It is scheduled for release on the 31st of January and will have a price of 47,800 yen (about $425, or ?300). Officially, Sony did not say whether the white console will come to the US market, but everybody hopes this will not be a Japan exclusive.

If you don't know yet why Devil May Cry 4 was the one chosen for the PS3 bundle, you should know that this is one very successful franchise and the latest game in the series delivers its intense action at a constant 60 frames per second at 720P resolution on HD monitors, ensuring seamless and breathtaking gameplay, all in stunning high definition. However, since the game has some demons packed inside, the heavenly ceramic white should've been, in my opinion, a hellish red.
