14 DAY TRIAL // The mobile division of Vivendi Games recently released a new celebrity-themed game for our handsets: Celebrity Hangman. The game does not allow you to hang the celebrities you dislike, as you might have wished to, but instead it offers you the chance to guess (or not) countless names of famous people, from the world of music, film, TV, sports and so on.
Similar to another hangman mobile game, namely Amy's Hangman, Vivendi's Celebrity Hangman comes with a "paper look", hence when playing it's like you'd do it with a real pencil, on a real paper sheet.
A cool feature of Celebrity Hangman is that users can bring their own content to personalize the game: you can include all your favorite celebrities in the hangman puzzles. Do you like Britney Spears? That's (arguable) cool, put her in the game. Do you like Brad Pitt? Very well then, put him in the game too. You can make your own lists of celebrities, upload them on the game's website and let other players figure out the names of your favorites. Those who can't guess the names will be mercilessly hanged. Virtually, of course.
The new Celebrity Hangman is currently available only via mobile operators from U.K. and Ireland (visit this website for details) and from Australia and New Zealand (visit this website for details). The game is compatible with lots of mobile phones from most of the important producers, including Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and LG.

All in all, Vivendi's Celebrity Hangman should offer lots of fun moments. Except the ones when you can't guess the name of some pop singer chick and you get hanged. Well, life's tough in the pop world, you should know that by now.
