At CeBIT, being a trade show with emphasis on PC hardware, coolers were bound to make an appearance and, sure enough, Be Quiet! has one on site.

Be Quiet! is a German PC peripherals maker, but it releases coolers and PSUs more often than not.

The Shadow Rock 2 is a cooler for central processing units, one that measures 120 x 120 x 120 mm / 4.72 x 4.72 x 4.72 inches.

It has a 120mm Shadow Wings fan and, for pulling the heat out of the CPU and into the fin stack, four 8mm copper heatpipes.

The fan is mounted on the side of the heatsink, not on the top.

All in all, the newcomer is rather unusual in design, though not overly so. Its price will be of €45 / $45-58.
