Motorola is present at the CeBIT 2008 Fair in Hanover, Germany (4 - 9 March 2008), showcasing its latest mobile phones. For the moment, we bring you ROKR E8 and MOTO U9, two handsets that were first unveiled in 2007 but didn't get the chance to be released globally yet.

Motorola ROKR E8 is a fashionable music phone that comes with advanced, easy-to-use controls, enabling users to smoothly change the handset's functionality from phone to MP3 player or to imaging device. ROKR E8 features quad-band GSM connectivity (850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz) with EDGE and, unfortunately, it doesn't support 3G.

Measuring 115 x 53 x 10.6 mm and weighing 100 grams, the phone packs a 2 inch TFT display with 256K colors and a 320 x 240 pixels resolution, a touch-sensitive keypad, navigation scroll wheel, stereo FM radio, Music player (MP3 and AAC supported), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0, Internet and email capabilities, Instant Messaging, 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, Java MIDP 2.0, handsfree, calculator and organizer. Furthermore, there's 2GB of built-in memory, microSD card support and a Li-Ion 970 mAh battery capable of providing about 5 hours of talk-time and up to 300 hours of stand-by time.

Motorola MOTO U9 is another stylish phone presented by the American company, but this one, unlike ROKR E8 that comes as a candybar, features a clamshell form factor. MOTO U9 is clearly designed for young people and its smart design will surely make its users stand out. The handset weighs 87.5 grams, measures 90 x 48.6 x 16.4 mm (when closed) and offers a main 2 inch TFT internal display (256K colors and 240 x 320 pixels) plus a secondary, external OLED screen with 65K colors, 128 x 160 pixels and a cool touch-sensitive music control interface.

MOTO U9's highlights include Windows Media Player 11, CrystalTalk technology, a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, stereo Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0, iTap, voice command, WAP 2.0 / xHTML browser and microSD card support for up to 4GB. The phone's battery can provide a talk-time of up to 7 hours and a stand-by time of around 350 hours.

We'll soon have more live pics with other handsets presented by Motorola at CeBIT 2008, so check back if you're interested :)
