Game Club Cafe is a casual games portal created and maintained by the independent game developer Codeminion. The portal now features a collection of over 50 titles for Mac. Codeminion is well known for titles like Ancient Quest of Saqqarah and Magic Match.

According to Konrad Olesiewicz, Codeminion co-owner, Game Club Cafe was built based on a “quality over quantity” concept. Olesiewicz adds that the company wants to feature games they feel are better than the average-rated titles crowding the casual games market today. Featuring over 130 titles, Game Club Cafe offers each and every title on a try-before-you-buy basis. All games are priced the same (US$19.95).

Codeminion is an independent game studio located in Poland. The company is focused on creating, but also distributing top quality casual games. Such titles as StoneLoops!, Magic Match, and Saqqarah express best what Codeminion is all about. The development team is “dedicated to the art of making games”.

Ancient Quest of Saqqarah's plot, for example, says that once every thousand years, a solar eclipse shrouds the ancient pyramid of Saqqarah. The sunlight which escapes the land of the mortals is needed deep below the sands, in the long forgotten resting place of ancient legends. Therefore, with the help of Khufu – the Magical Monkey from the Underground Oasis, players must solve over 500 puzzles to uncover the ancient mystery of the eclipse. During their journey, players visit seven magnificent temples and help gods in restoring their lost power. Seven different styles of match-3 puzzles and three difficulty levels round up the features list.

“Game Club Cafe is a portal dedicated to distribution of great casual games,” says Olesiewicz. “We carefully select the games to add to our collection to make sure that only fun titles of highest quality appear on our portal. As game developers ourselves, we love to see quality taking over quantity. Our goal is to introduce you to the wonderful world of games and to ensure that you will get the best possible impressions on this form of entertainment.”
