Even with a virtual storm of rumors regarding who is getting what part in the “Star Wars: Episode VII” film, most fans out there still don't know what to expect when they enter cinemas on the day of the premiere.

Regardless of the media scandals and suppositions, production on the movie is said to be rolling along, as the casting process for the main characters has been completed and now it's moving on to shooting at Pinewood studios in England.

The news comes from HitFix which claims that the filming should be done by mid-September. Starting from this date, the site suspects that the director will need an additional year for post-production and that the film will most likely get a summer release in 2015.

At the moment, some of the names that have been connected with this project include Gary Oldman, Zac Efron, Benedict Cumberbatch and Jesse Plemong. At least, these are a few that have been officially or unofficially confirmed.

“Episode VII” has many fans of the franchise hoping for big things. First off, it's directed by J.J. Abrams, a director with a good reputation, and secondly, it's the first film to be made since Disney Studios took over the franchise from Lucas Film and has stated its intent to return to the original feeling of the first episodes.
