It's already been named the most watched television show of the decade, so it's no wonder audiences still consider the cast of “Friends” as the best ever. A new poll in TV Guide confirms that.

The publication conducted a survey to determine which have been the casts to leave the biggest impression on fans and, as it turns out, the 3 girls and 3 guys of “Friends” remain favorites.

Almost seven years after it ended its run on television, the series still ranks high with fans, with hopes high that a reunion movie might still be made, despite repeated denials from the stars.

TV Guide has now named the “Friends” cast an all-time favorite in comedy, followed by that of “Seinfeld” and then by that of the older “MASH.”

For drama series, the cast of “West Wing” comes out on the top position, while “Lost” is next, followed by “ER.”

As one can easily note, all these series have been both very successful and time-enduring, proving that TV shows don't necessarily go bad after just a few seasons on air, as it happens to the vast majority of them.

As for the above-mentioned chance of ever seeing a “Friends” movie drop in theaters, this possibility is more distant now than ever.

In September 2009, James Michael Tyler (Gunther) told the media that producers had managed to bring all 6 original stars together again, and were working on a “Friends” feature film.

Tyler said at the time that they'd been inspired by HBO's “SATC,” which was turned into a film from a television series to great commercial success.

Unfortunately for fans, in November that same year, Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) rubbished such reports, saying they were all “very busy” at the moment and didn't even get the chance to consider a reunion movie, let alone say yes to it.
