If there ever will be a perfect day for Spider-Man fans to visit Singapore, then this day is this coming March 29.

This is because, on this date, folks who visit Singapore's Marina Bay have high chances to come face to face with the cast of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.”

What's more, they might even get the chance to see Director Marc Webb, media reports say.

In case anyone was wondering, Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Fox, and said director will be in Singapore on March 29 to celebrate this year's Earth Hour.

Thus, it was only a few days ago when Spider-Man agreed to team up with the World Wildlife Fund and become an ambassador for this event.

Earth Hour is a movement started by the green group the World Wildlife Fund back in 2007. At that time, it all boiled down to a lights-off event in Sydney, Australia.

Since then, the initiative has come to encompass over 7,000 cities and towns across the world.

While in Singapore, the cast of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” together with Director Marc Webb, will help switch off the lights across the Marina Bay's skyline.

What's more, they will ask people to help protect the planet by supporting one or more of the World Wildlife Fund's green-oriented campaigns.

Talking to the press, Andy Ridley, CEO and co-founder of Earth Hour, said that, “We're so excited that our first Super Hero ambassador for Earth Hour will join us for the global celebration of our planet in Singapore.”

According to ABS-CBN News, Andrew Garfield, who plays Peter Parker in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” is now the supporter of a project dubbed A Flame Called Hope.

The initiative is intended to provide clean biogas to people in Nepal.

Emma Stone and Jamie Foxx, on the other hand, have chosen to get behind efforts to safeguards wildlife in Indonesia and Nepal.

More precisely, they are now supporters of Puppy Protectors and the Power up a Ranger projects, respectively.

Those who want to get involved in such projects need only visit Earth Hour Blue, a digital crowdfunding and crowdsourcing platform, and pick and choose from the campaigns there.

“The Earth Hour platform is an incredible way to engage businesses, governments and individuals to help protect the planet.”

“In line with the spirit of this global campaign to inspire simple yet long-lasting changes that can positively impact the planet, our hope is that Singapore will be a global leader in inspiring sustainable actions,” explains Elaine Tan with the World Wildlife Fund, as cited by PR Newswire.
