14 DAY TRIAL // Depending on who you believe, Casper Smart and Jennifer Lopez broke up either because he cheated on her with a couple of transgender models and she dumped him, or because the romance had run its course and they were too focused on their careers to try to save it.
Whichever the reason, one thing is clear: the split is amicable enough to ensure that us gossip lovers don’t get any dirt on it, at least not through the official channels. Moreover, it seems that the breakup is amicable enough to get Jennifer in a very generous mood, because she’s allowing him to keep all the presents he got from her during the romance.

Word has it that we’re talking about millions of dollars’ worth of designer clothes and accessories, jewelry and other luxury items. You can’t say divas like Jennifer don’t know how to be generous towards others.
“He gets to keep all the gifts that Jennifer bought him, including the customized truck that she gave him for his 25th birthday. Jennifer has always been very generous and Casper has bags of things to move out,” an unnamed source reveals for People magazine.
You can say that again: not only did Jennifer shower her new man with gifts starting with the moment they went public as a couple, but she also made sure he never wanted for anything. Insiders claim that, freshly into the new relationship, she put him on a very generous allowance, officially on the payroll, just so he would be able to pretend he was paying for stuff when they went out.
Jennifer decided that $10,000 (€7,328) a week was enough money to allow Casper to dress according to his new station in life and also to make it possible for him to pay for dinner, or even to buy her an expensive bauble every once in a while, if he saved up.
He obviously couldn’t afford all this from his backup dancer’s salary, even if he was already a respected one in the industry. In time, Jennifer also promoted him to tour choreographer, and our guess is his salary duly reflected that.
Naturally, since they’re no longer together, Casper will have to make do without this very generous allowance. Hopefully, his acting efforts will be successful and he will make a name for himself in Hollywood, which is his next planned move.
One report in particular claims that he wanted out of the relationship because he thought being Mr. Jennifer Lopez was working against him in terms of breaking into acting.
Meanwhile, he will have to nurse his broken heart with the help of all those expensive gifts he gets to keep. “He is upset about the split. He really wanted to stay with Jennifer. He loves her and her kids,” says another source.
However, there’s no fighting fate. Casper is believed to have moved out of Jennifer’s LA home (she’s currently away on business) and, if the above is accurate, he probably took his expensive gifts as well.
