Several hours ago, Redmond-based software giant Microsoft announced plans to start the roll-out of the Windows Phone Mango

software update in a week or two, and wireless carriers around the world already unveiled the fact that they are ready for the deployment.

In Australia, Telstra announced via Twitter that they were planning on starting the roll-out in the next two weeks, in a move that should make their customers owning a Windows Phone device rejoice.

On the same continent, Vodafone unveiled ever since last week that they were prepared for the launch, and that it remained only for Microsoft to start delivering the update.

In addition to Telstra, Deutsche Telekom, a European carrier, was another wireless operator who announced via Twitter that the Mango update was near.

The announcement was made in German, yet the translation informs on the availability of the new software update as soon as next week.

On the carrier's network, the owners of an HTC smartphone will be the first to taste Mango, while those who own a Samsung device will join the party a bit later.

Other carriers are also gearing up for the software update, as Microsoft certainly aims at making the new OS flavor available for all of its Windows Phone users at the same time.

For the time being, however, all that Microsoft has had to say on the deployment of Windows Phone Mango was that it will kick off in a week or two.

A specific release date was not provided, but, since Deutsche Telekom said next week, we should not expected for the new platform iteration to arrive before the end of this week.

Additional details on the availability of Mango on Windows Phone devices will start to emerge in the next several days from Microsoft themselves and via their partners, so stay tuned to learn more on the matter.
