This week’s issue of the celebrity publication brings an interview with Underwood on the downside of fame and how much work goes into making a marriage work when you’re in the spotlight.
“If Mike ever told me he needed me to quit, I'd quit,” she says without hesitation.
She made that promise to her husband when she said the vows.
“When you make that promise to somebody, and you stand before God and your family and friends, you've got to do everything that you possibly can to make that work,” Carrie adds.
Let’s just hope that she’ll never be in a position to choose between career and family because that would break her fans’ hearts, without a doubt.
