Until just a few hours ago, former Miss California USA, Carrie Prejean never showed any signs of being shy and certainly not of being afraid to openly exploit and talk about all aspects of her life in order to promote herself. However, an appearance on CNN’s Larry King Live was almost cut short as Prejean flipped out when King continued to ask her “inappropriate” questions, as the Examiner can confirm.

Prejean was a guest on the popular show to talk about her book, “Still Standing.” Inevitably, the question of the lawsuit she filed against the Miss USA beauty pageant for “religious discrimination” and of the one the organization filed against her for breach of contract came up. However, all King wanted to know was why they had settled, without asking Prejean to go into the particulars of the deals, which he guessed must be protected by a confidentiality agreement.

Still, the former beauty queen took the question very badly – so badly, in fact, that she couldn’t get over it even after King dropped it and tried to change the subject. So, as Larry King allowed a caller to speak and ask Prejean a question, viewers could see her taking out her microphone and repeatedly mouthing the words “I am leaving.” Eventually, Prejean also told the host that she was leaving.

“The veteran talk show host was visibly perplexed at her repeated accusations that he was fielding inappropriate questions during their interview. As Mr. King moved on to a telephone caller, Ms. Prejean proceeded to unhook her microphone, and then sit, periodically talking to someone on the side of the stage, stating: ‘I think that you are being extremely inappropriate right now, and I’m about to leave your show.’ They sat in silence for a few seconds (which felt like minutes) and then went to a commercial,” Examiner writes of the incident.

What was even weirder was that Prejean would not even say what was so “inappropriate” about King’s question of why she had settled with the beauty pageant, not even when he specifically asked her to do so. Larry King was forced to cut to commercials when he saw the beauty queen insisted on leaving, but they both returned after a short break, when Larry King apologized. See below for the video of King asking the “inappropriate” question and Carrie Prejean on the verge of storming off.
