With all the rumors surrounding the cast of “Star Wars VII,” there is only one confirmed name at this point that fans know for sure is going to be featured in the movie and that is Carrie Fisher, the actress who played Princess Leia in the original movies.

Up until this point, she's been the only one to speak openly about starring in the movie, in fact bragging all over the place, despite the fact that Disney and director for the film J.J. Abrams have not issued a public statement to confirm the news.

The news came from Jim Jefferies on the Sirius XM show “Opie and Anthony Show.” He claimed on air to have spoken with Fisher about her shooting schedule in the coming months “She said to me, she goes ‘I'm going off to London for six months to film the new Star Wars movie.’”

He also had some interesting tidbits about the script of the following movie, which, again, came from Fisher, “And I don't think from looking at it, the new Star Wars movie is a direct continuation. It's number 7 but it's not going to be the next day, I'll tell you that much. Maybe she had the same problem the Emperor had, I don't know,” the comedian joked.

This would imply that Carrie Fisher has a bigger part than just a cameo, if we're to believe this rumor mill-style of reporting, because no actor is going to spend six months on the set if he or she has only a small cameo appearance.

Based on this new information, you are now free to speculate for yourself, just how much of a role Fisher's Princess Leia is going to play in the new movie.
