Caroline Manzo, one of the regulars on Bravo’s Real Housewives of New Jersey, has decided it was time she went her separate way. Shortly after the second part of the season 5 reunion ended, Caroline confirmed the news on her Twitter.

She said she was leaving the show but did not offer more details into the reasons behind such a decision. Her latest blog post confirms that it would have been difficult to do that in 140 characters or less.

Caroline writes on her blog that the direction the show has taken means she’s no longer true to herself or having fun, which are the 2 reasons she accepted to do it in the first place.

“Over the past few years my outlook on the show has changed from something I couldn't wait to show my future grandchildren to something I hope my future grandchildren never see,” she says.

“For me, peace and integrity cannot be bought with money or fame. I practice what I preach, and as I said on the reunion, I'm done. I simply feel that my role has run its course and I have nothing more to give,” Caroline explains.

However, fans should not despair: while she’s “done” with RHONJ, she’s not done with Bravo yet. The network is now looking into getting her her own spinoff series, which would be called “Manzo’d with Children,” a pun on the now-classic sitcom “Married with Children.”
