Last week, we learned that Target suffered a data breach in which 40 million credit cards were compromised. It turns out that not all of them are cards issued by US financial institutions.

According to Brian Krebs, the same underground website that's selling US cards has made available the details of around 330,000 cards issued by banks from Europe, Latin America, Asia and Canada.

The cybercriminals are selling the information for higher prices compared to the US cards. The prices range between $23.62 (€17.26) and $135 (€98.66) per card.

The price depends on the card’s expiry date, credit limit, issuing bank, card type and other factors. Their value is also influenced by how rare the cards are on the black market. The most expensive are those issued by financial institutions in the UAE, South Korea and Singapore.
