CES 2014, the first important international electronics show of the year, has ended and everyone is now waiting for the next big event in February, the CP+2014 show that takes place in Yokohama, Japan.

Quite a few new announcements are expected at CP+, including Canon's 7D successor, Olympus' latest entry-level mirrorless camera (E-M10), a few new Nikon Coolpix models, and maybe we get the chance to see Fujifilm's upcoming X-T1 weather-sealed digital camera up close.

According to CanonRumors, the Nippon manufacturer will also introduce a couple of entry-level APS-C format DSLRs. If we take into consideration Canon's Rebel camera release schedule, the company could announce the 750D / Rebel T6i and 110D / Rebel SL2 as the successors of the current 700D / Rebel T5i and 100D / Rebel SL1 models.

Since Nikon recently updated its entry-level lineup with the new D5300 and D3300 DSLRs, there's a big chance that Canon will also upgrade its entry-level camera series soon.
