The new Canon monochrome laser printers want to be the best friends of the users from the corporate and SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) environments. Relying on an extremely low cost for every printed page and having an excellent quality, the new printers are an ideal solution for the users from the business environments who deal with a large volume of printed documents.

Despite the small dimensions, only 369.8 x 250.5 x 216.7 mm, which allow placing these devices near any desktop computer, the new LBP2900/LBP3000 printers include a series of advanced technologies that offer an excellent productivity. The combination of high performance, small maintenance expenses and low price is the formula Canon hopes to attract consumers from the business sector.

Unlike other products from this market segment, the models LBP2900 and LBP3000 use the processing power of the computer and don't rely on the on-board memory of the printer. Large size files will not block anymore the limited amount of memory of the printers, and in this way, users won't have to spend money on expensive memory modules.

The quality of the prints is exceptional even for high speed conditions. The technology responsible for this is: Automatic Image Refinement (AIR), which ensures a resolution of 2400x600 dpi. Despite this quality, both printers maintain constant speed: 12 and 14 pages per minute.

LBP2900 and LBP3000 promise "zero warm-up time", which means that effective printing can start as soon as the printers are started.
