The series will walk you through the basics of HD video recording using Canon DSLR cameras

If you are the proud owner of a Canon DSLR camera and you have always wanted to learn how to shoot video footage using your digital camera, you're in luck because CanonUSA decided publish a 3-part video series meant to teach you the basics of DSLR video capture.

The series will be published on CanonUSA's YouTube channel and are hosted by Larry Becker and Canon Camera Tech Support specialist, Linda Duchaine.

The series covers all you need to know from basic settings to more advanced ones as well as quick and easy editing tips and giving some inside on how to share your videos.

This first video will take you through the basic filming and gear tips, as well as giving an overview of Canon STM (Stepper Motor) lenses designed with a new focus motor and iris mechanism that eliminate (auditory) noise during video recording.
