There’s only one day left until we get the chance to see what Canon has prepared for this year's CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show in Yokohama, Japan, but the rumors and leaks won't stop emerging.
Japanese website Digicameinfo has received from trusted sources two new photos with the upcoming Canon G1 X Mark II compact digital camera, revealing a bit more about the new Canon shooter.
As you can see from the image above, the new model has a completely new design compared with its predecessor. The new G1 X Mark II doesn't come with a built-in optical viewfinder, but it will support an EVF mounted on its hotshoe.
Other noticeable changes include the longer and brighter12.5-62.5mm f/2.0-3.9 lens that has a 35mm equivalent focal length of 24-120mm as well as a new tilt type for the LCD display on the back of the camera, similar with the one found on Canon N100.
