Canon is known for its dedication to providing world class customer service by trying to solve all possible issues that come with certain camera models without any costs involved.

That being said, the company issued recently a new product advisory notice regarding the PowerShot ELPH 330HS digital camera. The notice describes a rare phenomenon when the camera could display a message to charge the battery even though there's sufficient power remaining, the camera sometimes does not turn on, or the camera suddenly turns off during use.

According to Canon, these issues are happening due to “insufficient contact between the camera's battery terminal and the battery” itself, even if the battery has enough power to enable camera usage.

To address this problem, Canon encourages customers who are experiencing this issue with their PowerShot ELPH 330HS digital camera to contact their local Canon retailer to find out more on how to send the device for inspection and repair free of charge.
