Canon is yet to announce its lineup for the upcoming CP+ Camera & Imaging Show but, according to the latest rumors, we might have a few hints on what to expect.

Right after CES 2014 closed its doors, a new rumor emerged that Canon was planning to announce a new entry-level DSLR camera, which will be placed below the current Rebel SL1 / 100D model and will probably come as a replacement for the Rebel T3 / 1100D.

Taking a wild guess, the new camera could be called Rebel T4 / 1200D and, according to Cameraegg, it will feature a 15MP sensor, a step up from the current Rebel T3 / 1100D that packs a 12.2MP CMOS APS-C image sensor.

For the moment, we know that Canon will be revealing more about its camera and lens lineup of February 12, so stay tuned on Softpedia in order to find out more about the latest products announced by the renowned Nippon manufacturer.
