Back in October, a report came in saying that Canon was going to bring a lot of 4K products out on the market in 2015.

Insiders claimed that it shouldn’t come as a surprise if we saw the first device from the category arrive in time for the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 (CES 2015).

Now, Canon Rumors says that the Cinema EOS C300 camera will get a replacement just in time for NAB 2015, which will take place in Las Vegas next April.

Apparently, the Mark II version of the C300 will be 4K-ready. The sources also claim that the device will arrive with a whole bunch of improvements. However, at this point I'm not being told what these are exactly.

Still, it’s hypothesized that the C300 Mark II will be a bigger upgrade over the C300, than the C100 Mark II was over the original C100.

On top of the EOS C300 Mark II, Canon will roll out a shoulder-style Cinema EOS camera that will compete directly with the likes of ALEXA.

Canon is also said to roll out the Canon 5D Mark IV in February, another camera that is expected to take advantage of the perks of 4K.

Furthermore, the company is readying thins as far as the 1 D X replacement and 6D Mark II are concerned.
