The judges on American Idol have a new favorite: Candice Glover wowed both the panel and fans with two stunning performances the other night, both earning her a standing ovation.

Check them out below in full.

First off, Candice sang Dionne Warwick’s “Don’t Make Me Over,” which got her the first standing ovation of the night, together with warm praise that she’d put on the best performance of the night.

However, it was her take on The Cure’s “Love Song” that literally brought down the house – and Mariah on stage to sprinkle glitter on her.

I don’t know where she produced it from or if she usually carries it with her, just in case, but it was sweet, if you think about it.

“Let me just say on behalf of all my judges on here, one of the greatest performances in the history, in 12 years of American Idol,” Randy Jackson enthused.

Now, enjoy the superb performances!
