14 DAY TRIAL // Barbie is getting a new home, Mattel announces, and she is dumping her old one in Malibu for a cool $25 M (€18.5M).
“It’s official, dolls… I’m moving out of Malibu! It’s time to find a new Dreamhouse and I have my heart set on somewhere fabulous. Suggestions, please!,” Malibu says for Barbie on their Facebook page.
The fictional character's just-as-fictional 3-wall crib has been put up for sale on Trulia, and it's described as absolutely “Pinktastic.” As you can see above, it's almost completely decorated in Barbie's landmark color. Curbed describes that the glam girl prefers Pantone 219C.
The publication also notes that, according to the listing, the house appears to be located on Carbon Beach, but the exact address, which I am sure we would all love to know, has not been disclosed.
A “Dream Team” of decorators, including Trina Turk and Celerie Kemble has reportedly been hired to renovate the new home that Mattel will unveil at the end of 2013.
