Netherlands-based photographic equipment manufacturer Cambo has recently announced that the X2-Pro and Ultima 35 camera systems are now available for Sony E-mount digital cameras.

Previously, the X2-Pro was only compatible with Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Phase One / Mamyia AFD and Sony A-mount cameras. To be able to use your Sony E-mount camera with the X2-Pro system, you will need to purchase the XBE-35 bellows that features the E-mount bayonet for a price of around €300 / $410 and the camera base priced at about €200 / $275, according to Photoscala.

A complete X2-Pro camera system (without the digital camera and lenses) that includes the lens adapter plate could cost you around €2,100–€2,500 / $2900–$3500, depending on the lens configuration you need.

The Cambo Ultima 35, on the other hand, was previously available only for 4x5'', 2x3'' digital backs and Canon and Nikon small format cameras. A complete Ultima 35 system for Sony E-mount cameras can cost you around €6,000 / $8250. Check out more information on Cambo's website.
