14 DAY TRIAL // Activision has just presented the first video for the upcoming Content Collection #2 DLC, which will appear next week for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 owners on the Xbox 360.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 amazed millions upon millions of first-person shooter fans last year with its impressive multiplayer and, since then, Activision’s various studios have released all sorts of new content.
While those with Call of Duty Elite premium memberships on the Xbox 360 were able to enjoy the new content for free, regular Xbox 360 owners had to wait until the traditional Content Collections appeared.
After the first DLC pack earlier this year, the second Content Collection is getting ready for its launch next week, on May 22, for the Xbox 360.
Two new maps for the recently launched Face Off mode are included in the add-on, in the form of Getaway and Lookout, as well as three maps for the regular multiplayer mode, Sanctuary, Foundation, and Oasis, but also two new Spec Ops missions, namely Kill Switch and Iron Clad.
“Grab a friend and experience an all-new way to play multiplayer. The second Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 DLC Collection launches with all-new Multiplayer/Survival Mode Maps, Special Ops Missions and the debut of Face Off maps,” Activision said about the upcoming DLC pack.
“Totally new to the franchise, Face Off distills all the fun and intensity of multiplayer into a new breed of 1 vs. 1 and 2 vs. 2 close combat. In addition to 2 Face Off maps, Collection 2 deploys with 3 additional multiplayer maps and 2 Special Ops Missions, offering fans new venues to test their Multiplayer and Special Ops skills.”
