Gamers can get ready for the coming Advanced Warfare

The development teams working on both Call of Duty: Ghosts and Black Ops 2 announce that all fans of the first-person shooter titles will be able to get access to double the experience for their characters starting on Monday, October 27, and until Halloween, October 31.

The offer starts and ends at 10 AM Pacific Standard Time, according to the official Twitter accounts of both studios, and the companies are suggesting that they might introduce some cool events for long-term supporters during the week.

It is unclear how many gamers are ready to spend more time with Call of Duty: Ghosts and with Black Ops 2 given that an entirely new installment in the long-running franchise will be launched very soon.

Still, the period is a good chance for players to jump back into the series and hone some of their skills in order to make sure that they are prepared for the coming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Both older titles will probably see their player base drop to nearly zero once the new installment is out.

Call of Duty is focused on multiplayer action

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be out on November 4 on the PC, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Xbox One from Microsoft, and last-gen consoles.

The publishing team at Activision is introducing a new offer for hardcore fans, called the Day Zero Edition, which will be unlocked one day earlier all over the world and will offer a 24-hour-long boost to experience.

The development team at Sledgehammer Games is introducing some major changes to the multiplayer of Advanced Warfare, all of them focused on the exo-skeleton, a very sophisticated piece of technology which allows gamers to move faster and jump farther away.

This means that the maps of the shooter are designed for more vertical action and that players will also have more ways to dodge incoming fire and to deliver powerful melee attacks.

The studio that worked on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare says that long-term fans will discover an innovative experience that offers more battlefield options.

At the same time, there are modes which do not use the exo-skeleton in any way.

The game will include 12 different sets of rules, and two of the experiences, Uplink and Momentum, are entirely new.

Pre-orders for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare have been subpar and there are fears that the game will be the first to mark a long-term decline for the franchise.
