Call of Duty: Ghosts owners who aren't happy with the new first-person shooter have started bombing the game's Metacritic review score average, taking it to abysmal figures like a 1.6 out of 10 on the PC platform.

Call of Duty: Ghosts appeared earlier this week around the world for all sorts of platforms, including the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PS4, while for the Xbox One it will debut later this month.

While the game received mixed reviews across all platforms, actual users aren't that happy with it and have resorted to bombing its user review score section on large aggregator website Metacritic.

Among the more unhappy customers were PC gamers, who took the user review score average to just 1.6 out of 10. Meanwhile, the official review score average hasn't even been set, as there haven't been enough official reviews.

PS3 users are also quite upset with Ghosts, leaving a user review average of 2.0 out of 10. The official average is 76 out of 100, resulting in quite a difference between what actual reviewers say and what users believe.

Xbox 360 owners follow, with a user review score average of 2.1 out of 10. Here the official review average is 74 out of 100, meaning reviewers have noticed a drop in quality.

The few PS4 owners out there are also unhappy with the game, giving it an average user score of 2.8 out of 10, while the official review average is a much higher 78 out of 100.

Wii U users are a bit happier with the game, only giving it an average score of 3.2 out of 10. On this platform no official review has been recorded by Metacritic, so it's unclear just what actual magazines and websites think about the game.

Do you agree with these low scores or should users be more realistic with the game?
