14 DAY TRIAL // A major online leak concerning Call of Duty: Ghosts has just appeared, confirming that the game will receive a multiplayer demo soon, not to mention a free limited-time trial of the Onslaught DLC, as well as fresh skins modeled after villains like Makarov, Rorke, or Zakhaev.
Call of Duty: Ghosts appeared last November on all sorts of platforms, including PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One, or Wii U. Since then, developer Infinity Ward has kept on releasing new DLC packs, in the form of full-fledged map add-ons like Onslaught, to smaller multiplayer skins or customization options.
Now, it seems that the studio is preparing quite a few new surprises for Call of Duty fans, at least according to a document posted on Pastebin.
More specifically, the document states that a Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer Demo will be released on March 7.
The demo will include two online modes, Team Deathmatch and Domination, on three different maps: Strike Zone, Warhawk, and Prison Break. The demo will let players access the Create-a-soldier system, not to mention the Extinction cooperative mode where up to four players can team up and fight against hordes of aliens in different environments.
In case demo players decide to upgrade to the full digital edition of Call of Duty: Ghosts, they'll receive it for a discounted price.
Besides this multiplayer demo for those who don't own Ghosts, Infinity Ward is also preparing a free trial of the Onslaught map pack for those who haven’t purchased it until now.
More specifically, on March 21, Ghosts owners will be able to try out during that weekend all four Onslaught maps: Fog, Containment, Bayview, and Ignition, not to mention use the Maverick gun for free. They'll also have access to the first expansion for the Extinction co-op mode, in the form of Nightfall, which brings new adventures.
Last but not least, there are several new multiplayer skins also mentioned by the document. These include a special Legend skin pack focusing on Makarov, one of the biggest villains in the Call of Duty universe, but also others based on Rorke or Zakhaev, as well as on a Hazmat suit.
The document also mentions that Season Pass owners will receive access to a new weapon called the Ripper, as well as to a Team Leader Digital DLC packs, but it's unclear just what they are.
Expect to hear an official announcement very soon about the new things coming to Ghosts. Until then, admire the leaked images with the multiplayer skins above.
