Gamers will get a range of improvements for matchmaking

The development team at Treyarch and publisher Activision have used E3 2015 to show off both the cooperative campaign and the core multiplayer of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and the two companies are now facing a lot of questions from players who want to know more about the core mechanics.

David Vonderhaar, the studio director and leader of the team working on the shooter, explains on his Twitter account that his team is aiming to improve all the main elements that define the multiplayer experience.

Ranked matches will apparently be similar to those seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and Treyarch is trying to introduce much better matchmaking and the ability to run them on dedicated servers at all times.

Apparently, the company is planning to deliver a bigger reveal about the mode in the coming months, which might mean the coming Gamescom event in Germany in August.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer will also benefit from the fact that Treyarch is tweaking the way the control system works, with improved performance when gamers jump using thrust or use the walls to move around the game world.

Rejacking is also being tweaked by Treyarch

Vonderhaar says that his team is exploring ways to tweak abilities to make the multiplayer battles more exciting.

For Rejack, the plan is to modify it so that it does not affect the scorestreak, which is not working perfectly at the moment and will be perfected before the shooter is launched.

Treyarch wants the entire experience to be faster and more dynamic than ever before, with a focus on the powerful new tools 2065 can offer and the way gamers can customize their loadout to suit their tactical approach.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be out on the PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and older home consoles on November 6.

Activision and Sony have announced a new partnership, which means all the downloadable content launched for it will be first offered on the PlayStation devices, with those playing on other platforms getting access to it after about a month.
