The finals of the Championship that MLG and Activision organized for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare took place over the previous week, but this is not the end of the season for the eSports side of the shooter, with a range of new events coming over the next few months.

The company explains in an official announcement that it is very happy with the audience that the final engagement between Denial eSports and Revenge drew.

The best players of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in the world will have more chances to prove their worth in coming events.

Two more seasons will run for the MLG World Championship, which has an overall prize pool of 250,000 dollars (220,000 Euro), with OpTic Gaming at the moment the man to beat after a first season in which he managed to get 28 wins and just six losses.

The current period of competition will take place until May 22, and another Championship event will run between June 5 and 7.

Season 3 for the MLG World Championship for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will start on June 29 and will allow gamers to compete until September 3.

Another big event is the UMG California 2015, which will run from May 15 until May 17, designed to welcome some of the best gamers in the world, and another special moment will take place during the X Games in Austin, from June 4 to 7.

All those who cannot attend the actual contests in the flesh will be able to watch them on the official Twitch stream the companies will offer.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set to get another two DLC packages

The development team at Sledgehammer Games and Activision have just delivered the Ascendance package to those who play on the Xbox One and the Xbox 360.

The four new maps, the Infection chapter for Exo Zombies and the new weapons will be introduced on the PlayStation 4, the PS3, and the PC before the end of the month.

The developers have said that they will continue to work on patches in order to make sure that the multiplayer experience is as balanced as possible.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set to get access to another two major DLC packs, with the next drop probably coming in late May and set to add about the same amount of new content.
