Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is getting ready to receive a new downloadable content pack called Havoc next week and the community will be able to celebrate the event with a new Double Experience weekend period and with access to two new playlists.

The period of increased rewards will start on Friday, January 23, at 9 AM Pacific Standard Time and will run until Monday, January 26, at the same hour.

Developer Sledgehammer Games says that the weekend is a great moment for all those who are looking to increase their Prestige and maybe find a new group to play with, considering the fact that many gamers will be returning to the shooter to get the experience.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is also getting access to two new playlists that are designed to increase overall variety.

The first of them is Hardcore Mosh Pit and the developers add that it will include “a mix of Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Search and Destroy on a variety of maps. You’ll find the same limited HUD, decreased health, and that friendly fire is turned on for our Hardcore players.”

Gamers will also be able to play on a playlist for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare that was voted on by the community.

24/7 Comeback will focus on the map which won a recent Facebook poll and it will include modes like Team Deathmatch, Uplink, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and more.

Sledgehammer Games adds that they plan to introduce more playlists in the future based on the reaction of the fans.

Havoc is the first major DLC for the shooter

The most important element in the coming Havoc DLC is the new Exo Zombies mode, which will allow players to work as a team in order to take out new undead enemies and try to escape a facility.

The story, which will feature some high-profile Hollywood voice acting, is designed to stretch across all the coming packs for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Gamers will also be able to get access to four new maps for the multiplayer modes, all of them with a unique killstreak.

Havoc will be offered on January 27 on the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 and will be available on other platforms about one month later.
