A week ago, Alexander Tratsevskiy announced the immediate availability of the Calculate Linux Desktop 9.6 KDE Live DVD Linux distribution. Today, he is proud to present a new edition of its Gentoo-based Linux distribution, called Calculate Linux Xfce 9.6. Having the same main components as the main edition of Calculate Linux, the Xfce Edition comes in a Live CD and it's designed for low-end machines. It is powered by Linux Kernel 2.6.28.10 and X.Org 7.4, built on top of the Xfce 4.6.1 desktop environment, and it includes the OpenOffice.org office suite, version 3.0.1.

Highlights of Calculate Linux Xfce 9.6:
