Fox, the giant American TV and film company, announced the launch of Fox Entertainment Mobile Network, a new web portal for mobile phones. The new portal was unveiled during CTIA Wireless 2008 (1 - 3 April, Las Vegas), and it is set to bring one of the widest ranges of TV programs and video content ever made available for wireless subscribers.

Accessible at this address, the Fox mobile portal comes with content from highly popular American TV networks like FOX (of course), Fox Reality Channel, SPEED (offering NASCAR, PINKS and many other racing events), FX and the National Geographic Channel. Also, more than 30 mobile sites are included in the new portal, sites which bring well-known TV titles, including Family Guy, The Simpsons, Prison Break, 24, Nip/Tuck, The Riches and Dog Whisperer. All this is from now on closer to users, via their mobile phones.

Mitch Feinman, senior vice president of Fox Mobile Entertainment, declared: "Fox is continually setting the standard in creating and delivering innovative entertainment. The Fox Entertainment Mobile Network provides mobile users with a truly unique and diverse roster of globally-recognized content at one convenient mobile destination, making it another example of the company's leadership in the digital revolution."

Leveraging on a mobile platform (including management tools) from July Systems, the Fox Mobile Entertainment Network is capable of providing a high-quality mobile web experience to all those who visit the portal.

Any mobile user who owns a web-enabled handset can access the Fox Mobile Entertainment Network portal. In the future, the portal will be made available directly through AT&T's MEdia Net and the Wireless Web service from Sprint.

Al in all, the new Fox Entertainment Mobile Network will surely bring a lot of entertainment on your (our) mobile phones.
