Vizio is an American company mostly known for its line of LED LCD HDTVs, but the device maker has also released a notebook in the past. Now the device maker is showcasing its latest laptop endeavor, the Thin + Light Touch at CES 2014.

The new laptop is pretty much the same in terms of aesthetic qualities, compared to its predecessors. It comes bundling a 15.6-inch panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 10-point touch and sucks power from one of Intel’s Core i7 processors clocked at 2.4GHz combined with 2GB of RAM.

Sadly, the laptop accommodates an average gaming potential, since it comes equipped only with Intel Iris Pro 5200 graphics and users can’t update to something AMD or NVIDIA based. If you’re looking for a gaming companion, I suggest you take a look into Gigabytes’ AORUS lappy with SLI.

The Thin + Light Touch runs Windows 8 out of the box and has a 256GB SSD. Other functionalities include USB 3.0, HDMI out, audio/mic combo jack, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.

Pricing and availability are unknown for the moment, but I’ll keep you updated.
