They can fly and jump, so you'll have to keep an eye on them if you buy them

Some people feel that robots are tomorrow's pets, and I have to say that laying eyes on what Parrot brought to CES in Las Vegas, Nevada, makes me understand that feeling somewhat.

It also makes me think that people who believe that robots will turn on us and murder us all are wrong.

After all, the two new critters bouncing around at Parrot's booth in Las Vegas, Nevada, are actually kind of adorable. Understandably so, since they're basically toys.

There's a quadcopter (also known as quadrocopter or quadrotor) with a pair of giant wheels. This one likes to roll all over the place when it's not in the air, and can use the wheels as a protective roll cage when that happens.

The other one is a little wheeled bot that can jump around thanks to a mechanism made just for that.

Prices aren't known, but Parrot has every intention of marketing these things, so they should eventually show up.
