As I reported last week and was expected, Fuhu’s new kiddie tablets achieved in collaboration with DreamWorks have been popping for a visit at CES 2014.

The company has been showing off 8-inch and 12-inch models and Engadget reports the products look sleeker and more attractive than most child slates out there.

The DreamTab tablets will come bundling a stylus, as well and have the speaker grills located in front of the display, on either sides, which is a nice thing, making sound come towards the user. On top of that, the device reportedly features a nice unique concave design that makes them easy to hold.

The tablets will ship with a silicone coat, to protect them against bumps. At the trade show, Fuhu showcased a couple of DreamWorks apps, one teaches children how to draw characters from Kung Fu Panda and another is a Puss in Boots version of Fruit Ninja.

Fuhu’s new tablet is definitely something to watch out for as even adults might find some enjoyment here.
