They have 8 GB and 16 GB capacities and 2133 MHz clocks

DDR4 memory won't make it to market before the second half of the year, maybe not even before 2015, but ADATA brought some to the Consumer Electronics Show anyway.

CES 2014 is still going on in Las Vegas, Nevada, which means that anyone in the area still has a chance to drop by the ADATA booth and check the memory out.

There are two modules, with 8 GB and 16 GB capacities.

Both have CL15 latencies and 2133 MHz clocks, all on 1.2V. They are made for servers though (hence the low voltage), meaning that we have to wait until R-DIMM is not the only form factor in order to build next-generation PCs (we need DIMM for desktops and SO-DIMM for laptops and HTPCs).

Most likely, the first commercially available DDR4 RAM will come out when Intel launches Haswell-E processors in late 2014. ADATA may or may not make it there first.
