There are both convex and concave models on show in Las Vegas

Panasonic wanted to make a statement at the Consumer Electronics Show, taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, and what better way than arranging some big OLED screens in an S?

After all, if CES 2014 was mostly going to be about 4K UHD TVs, then one may as well go that extra mile.

Panasonic won't be selling any concave screens, but it made a few for its exhibition anyway.

The image up there is of six 55-inch panels lined up next to one another, three convex and three concave ones.

They are meant to illustrate the versatility and quality of Panasonic's OLED printing technology. Retail product info is still quite scarce.

In the meanwhile, we'll keep checking on who gets the upper hand in the ongoing debate over whether or not curves of any kind are good for PCs. After all, they mess with and limit the field of view.
