The ongoing trend towards alternative solutions requires that all innovative devices be eco-friendly, to capture the attention of a public more and more concerned about environmental issues.

Apart from the seven eco-friendly amazing concepts recently introduced during the 2012 CES, there is another worth looking at, due to its utility and sustainable design.

The House of Marley unveiled its green collection of audio products in Las Vegas. The first one that catches the eye is the Bag of Rhythm Portable Sound System, manufactured using earth-friendly materials, like SC-certified renewable birch wood and a special canvas, made with sustainable cotton.

It enables users to listen to their favorite music even when they are on the run. Far from being just a common bag people carry around during their trips, the portable system, part of the Jammin collection, can be used to recharge iPhones and iPads. Due to its included cable, it also connects hundreds of other gadgets.

“The Bag of Rhythm utilizes twin 1" (25mm) tweeters, twin 4.5" (114mm) high-definition woofers in a ported enclosure and a powerful amplifier to deliver amazing output with crisp detail and deep, powerful bass,” reveals the manufacturing company.

The shades of green are definitely not randomly selected for the bag, since it is designed to have a minimal impact on the environment.

Apart from the materials with a low carbon footprint used for the sound system bag, the developers have decided to redirect 5% of its overall profits to support a noble cause.

The House of Marley backs 1Love, an environmentally friendly organization, through their line of Marley products, while also committing to protect the Earth on their own.

The company sells on-ear and in-ear headphones, music docks and speakers with an unconventional design and a unique vintage touch. Every single product is supposed to be sustainable, renewable and recyclable.

Their Bag of Rhythm will be launched on the market starting February 2012 and will be priced at $349.99 (€275).
