Oh, sweet satisfaction of being a geek! Nano-components are being used almost in everything from toys to domestic appliances, but Interactive Toys is the one that extended nano-technology to art. And if you've always had a fascination with remote controlled toys, you're going to like what follows.Forget about super techno helicopters, jets, hand gliders, kites or boomerangs, because these fellows have taken the RC concept itself to a more elaborate and funny level in November last year when they rolled out their "bat remote controlled out of hell", the i-Fly Vamp.

The i-Fly Vamp, which the company is showcasing at this year's International CES 2008, is considered to be "the world's first smallest radio controlled ornithopter." The Vamp is a radio controlled bat that flies by flapping its wings, but besides that, the toy is similar to the DragonFly Wow Wee introduced last year. The RC flying bat is sure to get you the freaks, since it has spooky, light-up eyes. With a wing span of 11.75 inches, the toy allows its users to have fun both indoors and outdoors, especially since it sports a convenient control distance of up to 30 meters.

According to Interactive Toys: " The i-Fly VAMP has a built in lithium polymer battery which is charged by mounting it on the integrated charger/ controller. With 20 ? 30 minutes of charging, flights of 10+ minutes can be attained. Once in the air, the i-Fly VAMP has a natural forward motion. It is very easy to control the flight by the movement of two sticks on the controller. The left stick allows for digital proportional speed control and the right stick allows for the control of the direction. Due to this ubiquitous control method, it is very common for users to pick up and fly the i-Fly VAMP with little or no learning curve allowing for instant gratification."

To whom it may concern, the Interactive Toy portfolio consists of some more cool RC stuff from the BladeRunner series, such as: the Micro Mosquito, the Blackghost, the Firefly 2 and the BladeRunner 3. Besides that, you can also choose from other series as well, as for example Air Rage or Road Rage.
