This year's E3 was an outstanding opportunity for CDV Software Entertainment to highlight its growing line-up, as two of its titles - 'Panzer Tactics DS' and 'Pacific Storm' - earned accolades and award nominations from key North American game industry media.

Panzer Tactics DS was nominated for and earned the runner-up award for 'The Best of E3 2006 - DS Strategy Title from IGN', and was nominated by MTV's GameTrailers as 'Best Strategy Title'; Pacific Storm garnered a nomination for Best of E3 2006 in IGN's 'PC Strategy' category.

Panzer Tactics DS (Nintendo DS)

'Panzer Tactics DS' is the first and only WWII turn-based strategy wargame designed for the Nintendo DS. The game is played on hex-based maps and offers a variety of control options.

'Panzer Tactics DS' offers multiple single-player modes, including a historically based campaign mode that takes players through a series of increasingly challenging missions, leading to a showdown with an awesomely powerful enemy army. The top-notch AI will continue to amaze players with its skilful use of battlefield tactics and units in a game that will be easy to play but difficult to master.

Pacific Storm (PC)

An exciting new hybrid title, 'Pacific Storm' mixes the strategic elements of RTS titles with the action of an arcade title. RTS fans will enjoy classic strategy elements including resource management, unit and building construction and unit deployment, while action fans will be happy to take the skies or seas, as they directly control units in intense combat, shifting the balance of power in favor of friendly forces. It's like getting two fantastic WWII titles for the price of one!
