The Social Smartware ecosystem can now be tapped into for the first time

I've seen lots of headphones, both wireless and wired, but none of them can offer what the new company Muzic now can.

Sure, they can connect to phones, tablets and whatever else, and allow wearers to control volume, play or pause tracks, take calls and do all that just through the integrated headset controls, but that's it.

Muzik wanted to do more, because its founder Jason Hardi wanted more.

Hardi came up with what he calls Social Smartware, an ecosystem that connects consumer electronics devices to content and social media platforms.

That way, you only need the headphones to play music from the cloud (eventually), or make calls or otherwise access the mobile Muzik ecosystem.

Long story short, Muzik has just introduced the first headphones that allow users to share what they are listening on Facebook and Twitter, or even send a song anywhere in the world.

The headphones and related products will be available starting in the fourth quarter of 2013.
