The refurbished Kindle deal will be up only today (May 2/3, 2012)

There was one day, back in late March, when Amazon's refurbished Kindle Fire sold for $30 less than the normal product price, and the deal is back today.

Refurbished products are items that got returned to the vendor for some reason or other and have since been fixed.

Obviously, it doesn't make much sense for a company to let them pile up, so they may as well sell them at a bargain price.

Amazon is holding a sale of refurbished Kindle Fire tablets, with the price set at $139 (without shipping taxes).

Don't wait too long because the deal is only available today (May 2/3, 2012) and the supply may be exhausted before midnight anyway, like last time.

Kindle Fire has a 7-inch IPS screen (1024 x 600 resolution), Gorilla Glass coating, Wi-Fi, a dual-core processor and graphics good enough to run HD videos. The battery can last for up to 8 hours.
