Together with the release of Samsung Instinct, which announces itself as one of this year's hottest touchscreen handsets from the US market, Sprint also came up with a new Email service, named "Sprint Mobile Email Work". What this new service does is bring access to business email for users who don't own smarpthones or business-featured devices. More exactly, Sprint will allow its customers to enjoy the benefits of accessing corporate email accounts from non-PDA phones.

"Sprint Mobile Email Work will allow customers to read and respond to their business email and look up work contacts from a wider variety of Sprint phones, including the new Instinct. With combined access to corporate and personal email in a single application on popular consumer-friendly phones, Sprint customers can increase productivity and stay connected whenever and wherever they want," stated Kevin Packingham, senior vice president of product and technology development for Sprint, in a press release.

Sprint Mobile Email Work offers quick access to Microsoft Exchange Server (any of the 2000, 2003 or 2007 versions) as well as to IBM Lotus Domino accounts and IBM Lotus Notes.

Samsung Instinct is the first handset to come preloaded with Sprint Mobile Email Work. But besides the availability for Instinct, the new email service will also be compatible with the following handsets: LG Rumor, LG Fusic, Motorola KRZR, Motorola RAZR, Motorola RAZR2, Sanyo Katana, Sanyo Katana II, Sanyo 8400, Samsung M500, Samsung A900 and Samsung A900M. Plus, in the months to come, Sprint will extend the list to include even more devices.

Sprint Mobile Email Work is available for free with Sprint's unlimited data plans - meaning all the plans that the new Instinct can be bought with. For users who don't have agreements with an unlimited plan included, the new email service will costs $9.99 a month.
